А после кино, расставшись с подругой, я пошёл по одному из центральных проспектов Бангкока и увидел забегаловку с цейлонской едой. Нет, я не мог пройти мимо. Как можно было не вспомнить любимую нежную Шри-Ланку. Много-много риса, дала (нечто вроде горохового пюре), овощей и чикен в невероятно остром соусе (тайский том-ям просто отдыхает перед этой жгучестью!)

Конечно, нахлынули воспоминания. Более полугода назад мои стопы касались благословенных буддийских земель острова Цейлон. Знаете, Шри-Ланка - прекрасная страна. Не такая, как Тай, конечно. Но всё равно - одна из лучших и приятных во всей Азии, если не во всём мире. Горы в центре, невероятно ласковый и при этом величественный океан, намоленые буддийские храмы и ступы, вкусная еда, и обилие фруктов. Всем советую, особенно тем, кто собирается в Индию и в сомнениях - стоит не стоит. Просто посмотрите в сторону Ланочки... Кстати, южная школа буддизма обьединяет эти две страны - Ланку и Тай.
